A full-service jeweller, on-site in Glenelg
The benefit of having five jewellers, a designer and a gemmologist under one roof is that almost any jewellery question, problem or project we can handle ourselves. We don't send work off-site. Custom design, repairs, valuations, remodelling and insurance all happen here at the Jetty Road workshop, by the same hands that have built pieces for Adelaide families for three generations.
Custom design
Bespoke jewellery, made from raw metal at our bench. Engagement rings are the most popular starting point, but we design and build custom wedding bands, eternity rings, anniversary pieces, dress rings, pendants, earrings and statement pieces too.
The process starts with a 30 to 45 minute consultation with Dan. We'll talk through what you have in mind, look at inspiration you've collected, sketch options, and discuss stones, settings, metals and budget. From there we produce a scale drawing for sign-off, then move into manufacture.
Most custom pieces take four to eight weeks from sign-off, depending on complexity and stone sourcing. We'll give you a realistic timeline on the first visit.
Remodelling
Almost every Adelaide family has at least one piece of jewellery that's loved but no longer worn. A grandmother's engagement ring that doesn't fit. A piece that's gone out of style. An inheritance that's beautiful but isn't quite "you." Remodelling brings that piece back into rotation.
We can rework a ring into a contemporary setting, recut and reset a sentimental stone, melt down old gold and use it in a new piece, or turn a ring into a pendant. The original metals and stones stay yours throughout, and we walk you through every option before any work begins.

Repairs
Most repairs are handled in-house at the workshop, often while you wait. We do:

We're happy to look at pieces we didn't make. If a repair isn't viable or isn't worth the cost relative to the piece, we'll tell you honestly. There's no charge for a repair assessment.

Cleaning and care
Bring your Wishart pieces in at any time for a complimentary clean and inspection. We'll check claws, settings and shanks for wear, polish away the day-to-day marks, and let you know if anything needs attention. Pieces from other jewellers are welcome.
